Colorado Dairy and Irrigation Efficiency Program

This month the Colorado Energy Office has partnered with industry, utilities, and government to launch the Colorado Dairy and Irrigation Efficiency Program. Colorado's agricultural industry faces direct energy expenses of more than $400 million annually, which account for 7% of the industry's overall expenses. This program aims to reduce energy use and costs for Colorado's agricultural producers and improve Colorado's environment.
Michael Turner is the Energy Efficiency Programs Manager at the Colorado Energy Office where he manages energy programs for the state’s agriculture, state and local government, commercial/industrial, and k-12 sectors.
