  • Lessons learned venturing into the private sector market with Energy Performance Contracting
    Jeanna Paluzzi, EPC Program Manager for the Colorado Energy Office (CEO), will provide an overview of a pilot program to leverage the CEO’s public sector EPC experience in the private sector.  Forum participants are encouraged to provide input on design of a possible program to build on these private sector results.

  • Small to Medium Size Building Automation
    Jim Payne from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building Technology Office (DOE) will discuss efforts to develop an open source Building Automation Solution suitable for small to medium size commercial buildings.  This is a space that does not have a significant presence from the major BAS players, and could yield significant energy savings with BAS implementation.

    David Podorson, an analyst for eSource, will discuss several new technologies including: evaporative cooling retrofits to RTUs, liquid submerged servers, cloud thermostats, zoning technology, rooftop retrofit VSDs, LED lighting, daylighting film, and commercial laundry applications.
